A BIG Thank You!

The Harris Primary ED spirit was in full effect last weekend, with not one but two events on the schedule. Over the two events and the Harris Primary 2017 tea towels, we're thrilled to announce that over £4,000 in net funds was raised.

This was a phenomenal team effort. If you bought a ticket, tea towel, second-hand toy, candy cane reindeer, or raffle ticket; if you visited Mrs Christmas, had your face painted, munched a festive Firefly burger, or knocked back a flute of bubbles.... we say THANK YOU!

And to our volunteers - in whatever guise - if you wrote a spreadsheet, manned a stall, hosted a sponsor board, donated (or hustled) a raffle prize, dipped into your own pocket to cover costs, distributed flyers... these events literally wouldn't exist without you, and so many of you giving so generously of your time and talents is really what makes it feel so special. To each of you (too many to name individually, but you know who you are) we say a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU!

There is one special lady we'd like to single out though - our very own Mother Christmas - who completely enchanted every child who visited her. Not only did she listen to back-to-back Christmas wishes for a solid 3 hours, but she also supplied each and every one of the amazingly substantial presents. Katie, you are a superstar, we're so grateful for your generosity.

Plus, a big thank you to our headline sponsor, Pedder, and to everyone who hosted a board outside their houses - this made a huge difference to the funds raised.
