We Wheelie need your sponsorship!
On Saturday 10th July, between 4:30 and 6:30pm, a number of volunteers from our wonderful school community, will be collectively cycling from Harris Primary ED to the French Capital, Paris! What literally?! I hear you cry. No! Obvs. Though that would be amazing!
Instead they will collectively be clocking up the 470km it would take to cycle from Harris to Paris, on the track at Herne Hill Velodrome, on Burbage Road.
And we wheelie need you to sponsor them! Little cycling pun for your there. Anyway, here's what you need to know:
How do I sponsor a cyclist?
Now that we are a registered charity, we can use Virgin Money Giving (who have kindly waived the joining fee). You can make a donation to the overall event, or you can sponsor an individual rider.

What will the money be used for?
Any funds raised will be going towards the school playground refurbishment project. We'll tell you more about what the school is hoping to do with the space in another blog post, but it is a very big very exciting project! Which will hopefully save a few grazed knees and provide some much needed shade in our little sun trap! Look out for more on this in an up and coming newsletter!
